Last Day of February

Hello again, I guess I need to start keeping this tradition up.  I heard that it takes 3 weeks to make a habit, so I'll put that to the test.  I'll blog something each day.

Today was a little less exciting than yesterday.  My daughter is good, her fever is all but gone (as long as we keep the medicine in her).  She did take a fall today, she tried to push her chair out, but the chair doesn't scoot.  It tipped and she took a dive, the chair landed on her and she FrEaKeD out: screaming hysterically for a few minutes.  I think she got a little bit of cereal stuck in her throat, and that scared her.  She watched Boomerang all day.  I think it's funny that she likes the cartoons I grew up with more than her own cartoons and shows.  I think it's because everything now a days tries to teach something and our kids need to be simply entertained.  I can back that up with this little story…

Emery got a bath tonight before going to bed, and she has some foamy letters.  Well, we tried to give her a little quiz by asking her to tell us what each letter was and what sound it made, and she replied to us by saying "I don't wanna learn tonight."  We eventually got her to identify them all because we made it a game, and then she and I threw the letters at each other for a few minutes.  It was fun.

We are all still sick, though my fever broke tonight.  I am feeling much better, but Kristin's fever is still raging though we can keep it under wraps by using Tylenol and Motrin.  Emery's still a little feverish, but nothing like yesterday's and Ashlynn's fever lasted 2 hours on Monday…. This should clear up in the next few days.  Thanks for reading…
